They say our children are the future. And it’s true! Investments in education are often touted as the most important, given that the children that we’re investing in are the ones who are going to be creating entertainment, scientific breakthroughs, and more in the years to come. We’re not the only ones who think so, though. Hank Steinbrenner is largely remembered for the larger-than-life persona that he brought during his lifelong work with the New York Yankees.
That’s not what his legacy is, though. He brought Hank’s Yanks to the world, a nonprofit organization that brings baseball to inner city children in the tri-state area and teaches children the love of the sport that he adored.
On July 19th, Hanks Yanks is hosting their 2021 Celebrity Golf Event. Apart from being a golfing event which will feature the likes of Richard Gere and Jeff Nelson, this event is also a fundraiser dedicated to helping out communities in need. This event will also be hosted in the memory of the late Hank Steinbrenner who passed away last year. At this event, H2One plans on donating bottles of sanitizer to many of these communities. All of us here at H2One are thrilled to be collaborating with Hanks Yanks because the goals of their organization truly align with ours and our promise.
It’s no secret that due to the events of the last year, many of our communities are struggling and are in desperate need of help. Our goal at H2One is to do just that and this collaboration with Hanks Yanks only allows us to further this goal. We are so grateful for this opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to such a wonderful organization. As always, stay safe and take care of each other.
]]>August is here and you know what that means: Back to school! With the new delta variant of the virus, we get why so many of you are worried about sending your children back to school and who could blame you? With more and more cases of this new variant, it’s completely understandable to have concerns about your kids returning to school. With so much misinformation going around, you might feel uncertain of what to do to make sure your child is safe at their school. While COVID rules and guidelines in schools vary from state to state, H2One would like to offer you some helpful tips to keep your mind at ease and your child safe:
Please, let’s not make this a topic of debate. Wearing a mask can truly save lives and with this new variant, our children’s safety couldn’t be more paramount. By doing this, you are helping to contain any potentially infectious respiratory droplets that may or may not be released while breathing and/or coughing. This is especially helpful during those instances where being able to social distance can be a challenge.
Practice social distancing! Even if your children are vaccinated, social distancing is still a must! The common way COVID-19 spreads from person to person, is usually between people who are withing close contact of each other. While vaccines have been proven to protect against severe illness, we are however still learning just how effective these vaccines are at reducing transmission. So please, stress the importance of social distancing to your children.
This cannot be stressed enough. One of the best ways your children can limit the risk of getting sick is by keeping their hands washed and sanitized. Doing this can prevent the spread of the virus by touching a contaminated surface. Now, while surface-to-person transmission isn’t the direct cause of the virus spreading, an infected person can release respiratory droplets. Those droplets have the potential to infect a nearby person, they can also infect nearby surfaces. If you’re still worried about your child’s safety, why don’t you slip a bottle of H2One’s Calming Lavender Hand Sanitizing Gel in their bag. The perfect thing to keep your mind at ease and your child just a little bit safer as recently feature on Michigan Savings.
Look, we get it. We want this to be over just as much as I’m sure you do. Fortunately, you are in a position where you can help this end this faster. By educating your children about the safeties of wearing a mask or keeping their hands sanitized, you are not only helping your child, but you’re also helping someone else’s. From all of us here at H2One, please stay safe and watch out for each other.
]]>In our tumultuous times, it’s important for all of us to be thinking about the ways that we can give back to others. Charitable work has never been more important, given the number of people who are hurting and needy during these pandemic times. What that looks like obviously looks different for all of us. Maybe that means participating in a neighborhood cleanup or volunteering at your local hospital. With COVID still a very real threat in our world, maybe it means volunteering to help distribute vaccines. However helping your community looks to you, feeling positive about the work you’re doing is an important part of it. And we want to join you!
At H2One, we are so thrilled to introduce our Gio Urshela H2One Hand Sanitizer Collectible Bobble Head! Not only is Gio Urshela a baseball player, but he is also the winner of the Yankee Captain Thurman Munson Humanitarian Award. A frequent collaborator with H2One, Gio Urshela has joined us for many charitable causes bringing hand sanitizer to communities in need such as schools as youth organizations. Because of this, all of us at H2One couldn’t be more thrilled to have his face on our product as it is very much in line with our message of giving back and community help.
With all that has happened this last year, helping our communities has never been more important. At H2One, we thrive to do just that and we are so thankful and humbled by all of the support. From all of us here, continue to take care of each other and as always, stay safe.

Since Covid-19 most people’s inner germaphobe has reared its ugly head. If you are one of those people, take solace in the fact that you are not alone. In the wake of COVID, many of us have been more cautious of the way we distance ourselves and the way we keep ourselves clean and healthy. As a result, hand sanitizer (gel and spray) has been selling out like crazy. But how do you know which one is better for you?
We have an opinion of course but instead of our opinion, trust the facts:
Now onto our opinion… Beside the important facts about health and efficacy, there are some lifestyle considerations you should think about. Spray sanitizers usually smell really strong and if a strong wind hits, they taste worse. To keep yourself safe from germs, H2One offers a variety of hand sanitizer gels such as Calming Lavender and our Awakening Citrus. Our hand sanitizers are made with Aloe, Vitamin E, and Ethyl Oil guaranteeing quick action against germs and are moisturizing.
With everything that has transpired in the last year, our health in safety is now more paramount than ever. We highly encourage all of you to gel up for not just your safety, but also the safety of your loved ones. As always from all of us here at H2One, stay safe.

We are all spending more and more time washing our hands and thinking about ways that we can stay cleaner and healthier, and how we can encourage our families to do the same. Understandable, given the pandemic. Nobody wants to be the person who gets their family sick, or even be the person to accidentally get a stranger sick. Because of that, more and more people have taken to carrying hand sanitizer and wipes with them to make sure that they’re staying as clean as possible everywhere they go.
This is a high concern especially for individuals with small children. Toddlers get in each other’s spaces, they touch each other, they stick their fingers in their mouth. Daycares especially are a hotbed of activity, and there’s no way to teach toddlers about social distancing. Emphasizing the use of hand sanitizer and hand washing is of the utmost important for these little people, and a Harvard study suggests that hand sanitizer can actually be more effective at preventing illness in young children than hand washing!
A few caveats to these results: these children were using sanitizer incredibly frequently and properly, ensuring that the sanitizer was as effective as it could possibly be. Additionally, these children were educated very well about the importance of cleanliness and keeping their hands clean, being given lessons about it by the researchers whenever they came to visit. With these things in mind, the children who used sanitizer were significantly less likely to get sick compared to the children in the hand washing group and had a lower average of days taken off of school due to illness. Sanitizer works!
Of course, this is something that we already knew, here at H2One. Using high-quality sanitizer with the best ingredients is the best thing you can do to keep yourself and your family safe, and that’s the only thing that we make here! Our Calming Lavender sanitizer has 75% ethanol in it, well above the 70% recommended rate for optimum cleanliness. With essential oils and moisturizers included, you can be sure that use of our sanitizer is not going to dry out your hands while it keeps you safe. Keep your little ones in mind when you use H2One; after all, we have to keep the little future of America safe!

Every year Tax season comes around and every year most of us are left scratching our heads. Knowing which deductions, you can claim, how much of your income is truly taxable, and keeping track of all the different paperwork can be quite the headache. Needless to say, we understand that this is a time when you’re looking to make sure your taxes are done right, in a way that saves you the most money possible.
We have some good news for you! The IRS announced on March 26 that several health items that Americans have been buying in bulk are now deductible as medical expenses on your taxes!
Essentially, if you bought any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) items with the intent of using it to stop the spread of the Covid-19, that purchase can be used as a deductible medical expense on your taxes. Additionally, these purchases are available to be paid out with various Health Savings Accounts (HRA’s), but that’s a little outside our jurisdiction.
We suggest that you, as a health-conscious consumer, should bring this new little nugget of money saving information to your tax professional to ensure that you’re saving the maximum amount on your taxes this year. And while you’re at it, pick up a bottle of H2One sanitizer to ensure you’re safe and clean while interacting with other people face-to-face. After all, it’s tax deductible!
]]>World Health Day 2021 is campaigning on an issue that is both important and near and dear to our hearts here at H2One. As the last year has shown, there is great deal of inequity in our healthcare system here in the United States, where those who are unemployed, or poor cannot afford healthcare and cannot afford to take time off work if they are sick. Countless studies show that the United States has a level of healthcare inequity seen in few other developed countries, and in some areas, as bad as the healthcare access in developing countries.
There are a lot of factors that are looked at when discussing the quality of healthcare and range of access in any given area, housing, access to general practitioners and specialists, and supply of medical necessities are just a few. The number of people without quality healthcare is growing as premiums skyrocket, and though there are efforts to increase access at a Federal level, until wide-ranging measures are implemented, we will still be facing these problems as a society.
An additional factor to be considered when discussing world health is the rising costs of sanitizing products and health materials. This is an especially salient point during a global pandemic, and one we saw become a huge problem last spring with the pandemic surged. Sanitizing products, masks, and other supplies meant to help keep us all safe and healthy rose in price far beyond the usual rate of inflation. Unfortunately, those with supply can set the price, and this fact of the supply chain ensured that the poorest countries and individuals went without supplies that were urgently needed for the sick and vulnerable.
We here at H2One have attempted to do our part for our country and society by providing affordable, high quality sanitizing products for our communities (such as our Awakening Citrus Sanitizer Gel), but we recognize that we are just one company, and greater change is needed. Some nonprofits, particularly the World Health Organization (WHO), have programs in place intended to mitigate the disparities mentioned above, but without a global movement to increase access to healthcare for everyone (not just the wealthiest countries and individuals), these disparities will continue to persist.
One of the most important disparities is access to clean drinking water. In many third-world countries, this luxury that we take for granted is not guaranteed. Dirty drinking water can cause many illnesses and poor health concerns such as cholera, dysentery, and polio (Source), and as many as 2 billion people worldwide rely on water that is not sanitized or safe. While this may seem to be a big problem, there are things that you personally can do to help solve these issues, including volunteering for organizations such as the WHO as well a donating money to an organization that aligns with your values. As for us, our H2One for One Promise states that we will donate a bottle of sanitizer for each one bought, and in that way, we do our part to help clean up communities and individuals both at home and abroad.
We know that thinking of global health can be overwhelming. There’s a lot of issues to be discussed and considered, but any little bit you can do personally makes a difference towards the advancement of society and the world. We promise to continue doing our work as a company, and on this World Health Day, we hope that you’ll reach out to your local community to do your part in creating a safer, cleaner tomorrow.

Ready for a blast from the past? ABC is thrilled to announce its new game show The Celebrity Dating Game hosted by New Girl’s Zooey Deschanel and music legend Michael Bolton serving as the matchmakers. According to USA Today, this exciting new program has been conceived as a revival of the original ABC classic The Dating Game which ran from 1965 to 1973. In the original show, three contestants would vie for a date with a young attractive single by answering a series of questions posed by the single and the by the end of the show, one of those contestants will have won a date with the mystery man! The Celebrity Dating Game uses that same concept, only this time, the three contestants are vying for a date with a famous young single person.
Described by The Hollywood Reporter as a “wry wink at modern dating”, the non-famous suitors have the opportunity to guess the secret identity of the celebrity contestant based on clues, questions and parody performances by Bolton. Complete with celebrity guest appearances and humor throughout, this show is pays tribute to the original that many of us grew up watching and enjoying. Because of this, H2One is proud to partner with this new and exciting show as their official backstage hand sanitizer.
Through this partnership, we are supporting the production crew, makeup artists, hair stylists, celebrities, and guests with our products such as Awakening Citrus Hand Sanitizing Gel, Calming Lavender Hand Sanitizer, and launching soon our Moisturizing Sanitizing Lotion. Our Awakening Citrus contains Aloe Vera which is a gel used for irritated skin and/or burn relief, that’s not all it can do. With addition of Aloe Vera to our product, you can enjoy many benefits such as antioxidants and enzymes. Our Calming Lavender also possesses many wonderful qualities including a high alcohol content to kill germs, aloe vera to protect your skin from drying out, and our signature gel serum to ensure that a little goes a long way. The soothing lavender scent takes this the next step up from excellent to extraordinary and ensures that you can carry a bottle anywhere you go without worrying about the medicinal smell of traditional sanitizer any time you need to clean up. Or if you’re someone who regularly enjoys applying creams and ointments, then our Moisturizing Sanitizing Lotion is just the thing for you. With a mix of organic compounds and colloidal metals, we not only ensure your safety, but also keep your skin soft by killing germs on contact. This creates a long-lasting moisture-rich barrier that will fight against any germs in the future guaranteeing softer and smoother skin.
With all that has been happening in the world, H2One is so thrilled to be joining up with something that will bring some much-needed levity to many of our every day lives. In accordance with the H2One for One Promise to give back, we believe in a spirit of cooperation, to protect and care for ourselves and each other. As a reminder, our H2One for One Promise means that for each bottle of sanitizer that is bought online, we will donate one to communities in need. Keeping safe and healthy is of the utmost importance right now, and through our company promise, everyone can come together. Especially with this new partnership, we here at H2One are able to fulfill that promise.
H2One is incredibly happy to partner with such a fun and exciting new program, especially one which evokes such nostalgia. Though things seem bleak in the world around us, small things, like a new TV show to look forward to, give us something to smile about when there doesn’t seem like much else does. More important, H2One is happy to play an important part in keeping the participants and hosts safe as the official partner for sanitizer backstage. Even in a world where we need to keep distant from other people for the sake of our health, we can still come together as a community to take care of and support each other.
]]>While this one may seem silly at first glance, it is surprisingly effective. For many of us, during the winter months, the first place we notice dry skin is our hands. Wearing gloves during this time can really reduce the chances of dry skin. Simply slip them on when you go outdoors or while doing tasks in which your hands may or may not get wet. It can even be beneficial to wear gloves while sleeping.
Now, it goes without saying that we all want to keep warm during the winter. After all, nothing beats bundling up in front of a warm fireplace, however you might not want to stay near that fireplace too long. Staying near an open fire or any other heat source for a long period of time can also cause dry or cracked skin. No matter how inviting that fireplace may be, a safer and cozier alternative to staying warm would be bundling up with hats, blankets, scarves, etc.
Who doesn’t want to smell good? Many of us use products with fragrance including but not limited to soap and/or deodorant. However, these products are actually very harsh on dry and/or sensitive skin. It is actually recommended by dermatologist to use “fragrance-free” labeled products. These products however are not to be confused with “unscented” products. Products with the “unscented” label may contain chemicals that neutralize or hide the odors of other ingredients causing irritation on your skin.
If you have a humidifier, use it! Adding heat and moisture in your home can greatly reduce the risk of dry skin.
Frequently applying ointments, creams, and lotions between times of showering and/or bathing is immensely helpful for combatting dry skin. Our Moisturizing Sanitizing Lotion by H2One, available this spring, is perfect for this. With a mix of organic compounds and colloidal metals, we not only ensure your safety, but also keep your skin soft by killing germs on contact. This creates a long-lasting moisture-rich barrier that will fight against any germs in the future guaranteeing softer and smoother skin.
Staying warm and protecting your skin has never been safer or easier, especially with our new product by H2One. With these tips, your skin will much better equipped to endure the winter months. So, be sure to bundle up and enjoy yourself safely with your loved ones.
But, don’t just take our word for it. Many people around the country have recommended H2One to their friends and loved ones because of the excellent results H2One has given them. H2One has been referenced in Indie Entertainment Media’s article as a great last-minute gift for this upcoming Valentine’s Day as well as in Parul Agrawal’s Valentine’s Day Cheat Sheet. Clearly, we are not the only ones who can see the benefits of buying H2One for that special person in your life this Valentine’s Day.
Even though COVID continues to ravage our country and world, that doesn’t mean that you can’t spend special time with your partners and loved ones, especially with the holiday of love upon us. Just be sure to be safe while you’re out and about. Wear a mask, keep your distance (from others, not your loved ones!), and be sure to bring a bottle of H2One Calming Lavender sanitizer in your bag with you. Date night has never been safer!
Hello everyone, and welcome to the first month of 2021! It’s already been a long year, I know, but fortunately we are all still here, still healthy, and still taking care of each other. While this pandemic still rages, and as we’re discovering new virulent strains of the virus, it is becoming increasingly more important than ever to follow the guidelines from the CDC regarding sanitation and social distancing. We know that you are all still buying sanitizer and hand soap to help in that regard, and some of you might be noticing some…unfortunate side effects of constant hand washing and sanitizer use as the cold months drag on. Dry skin. Bleeding knuckles. Yuck.
Fortunately, our hand sanitizer has a special ingredient that provides a solution to a lot of the woes of traditional sanitizer. Aloe Vera. Now, typically Aloe Vera is a gel used for irritated skin and/or burn relief, that’s not all it can do. With addition of Aloe Vera to our product, you can enjoy many benefits such as, but not limited to the ones listed below.
Inflamed skin impedes the skin's rejuvenation process, which is why aloe vera is often recommended as a treatment for minor sources of inflammation such as sunburns. By reducing inflammation, antioxidants allow skin to repair itself and correct visible damage. Some antioxidants, like vitamin C, can also stimulate collagen production, which is vital for youthful skin, though it is important to remember that aloe vera will not remove visible signs of damage such as wrinkles. Research shows that consistent use of aloe vera improves the appearance of skin over the long term, though, reducing the rate at which visible signs of damage appear.
Enzymes break down the keratin protein in the upper layer of the skin, which bonds dead skin cells together. Without the keratin protein, dead skin can gently slough off, which allows for gentle exfoliation. The result of this is smoother, softer skin. The enzymes also help diminish scars and pigmentation.
Anti-bacterial properties make this idea for treating acne (though it’s important to remember that it’s better for surface acne, rather than cystic acne), adding onto the anti-inflammatory benefits that make this ideal for treating burns and dry skin. The collagen contained within the gel alone helps strengthen the bond between skin cells, improving skin dryness and elasticity, which is especially important given how often we have to sanitize our hands in these scary times.
The above benefits are just a few of the reasons that so many people are choosing H2One sanitizer over traditional sanitizer from the pharmacy. Additionally, the gel-like nature of aloe vera thickens the consistency of the sanitizer, enough that a little goes a long way. A small amount of sanitizer is enough to disinfect your hands sufficiently, stretching the life of a single bottle. After all, these days, you can never have enough sanitizer. From all of us here at H2One, please stay safe.
]]>From all of us here at H2One, we would like to wish you all Happy Holidays and we hope that you and your family are staying safe during this unprecedented situation. Given the increased restrictions that have been implemented across the country to stop the spread of COVID-19, it is completely understandable that you might be hesitant about making any plans to have family or friends over to celebrate the holiday. Fortunately for those of us who enjoy the twinkle and tinsel of the holiday season, there are steps that can be taken to ensure the safety of yourself and your guests in your home.
With everything that is currently happening in today’s world, maintaining a clean home has never been more vital. With current CDC guidelines it’s easy for us to have a solid plan regarding the cleanliness of our home, and it’s even more important to communicate your plan with your loved ones who hope to visit. Make a checklist to ensure you don’t miss any part of your home while getting ready for your family, and you’ll be in good shape when the day arrives.
Washing high traffic areas like counters and tables is the first and best defense against COVID-19, as the soap molecule actually disrupts the virus membrane and renders the virus ineffective at transferal. Be sure to clean as much of these important surfaces as possible to prevent the spread of illness.
Be sure to only use one chemical cleaner at once when disinfecting your home. Certain chemicals can be deadly when combined, creating toxic gasses or corrosive materials on your surfaces and hands. For the safety of yourself and your loved ones, be careful how you clean and if you do mix chemicals, be sure not to store them in their mixed form.
In the same vein as the above advice, be sure to follow guidelines for proper use of chemicals and cleaners. Guidelines are often printed on the side of the cleaner bottle for your safety, and have detailed instructions on how to use the cleaners and what surfaces they’re best for.
Now, this last one cannot be stressed enough! It is so important to wash your hands properly for at least 20 seconds. You can also reduce also reduce infection risk by sanitizing your hands throughout the day, making H2One hand sanitizer the perfect little stocking stuffer. In fact, for every H2One hand sanitizer purchase, another one will be given to struggling community with our “H2One to One Promise.”
If you follow these steps above along with the standard recommendation to wear masks and physically distance yourself from others when possible, you can have a safe and festive holiday with your loved ones and ensure that they’ll all be around to celebrate many holidays to come.
